What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Program Cook position at Parkview Kids Christian Learning Center?
Parkview Kids Christian Learning Center is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated cook. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-1pm. Cook is responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch and snack each day and must maintain the guidelines of the CACFP food program (training will be provided). Menu planning, light paperwork and grocery shopping is required.
Must be 19 years of age or older and pass a background check. Past experience in food service preferred. Looking for a candidate with a positive attitude and is flexible to change.
General responsibilities include:
· Maintain prompt hours and a responsible work schedule
· Maintain a safe, sanitary and healthy kitchen environment
· Report to the Director
· Maintain program within licensing and Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements
· Monthly ordering and menu planning
