Lead Cook - FT, Parkview Home

TITLE: Lead Cook

REPORTS TO: Dietary Manager 

Job Summary: The Lead Cook will assist the Dietary Manager with responsibility for oversight necessary to provide appetizing, appealing and nourishing food to residents with a variety of dietary needs. The cook will help prepare food for any of the meals served at Parkview Home and prepare and package snack options for the residents.  The cook will follow dietary regulations and any dietary restrictions. 

Qualifications: Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to follow directions and perform assigned tasks. Must be able to relate work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs. Experience in a supervisory position preferred. Complete and pass a state required background study form which checks for certain criminal convictions or serious/recurring maltreatment.
