Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
- Utilize salon software systems like GLOSS GENIUS for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas according to health regulations
- Offer personalized consultations on hair care routines, color theory applications, and product recommendations to promote client loyalty
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and accessories to boost your sales and meet revenue goals
- You get 100% of the walk-ins
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in diverse styling techniques
- Proficiency in hair styling, coloring (including advanced color theory), and haircutting methods
- Experience with salon software platforms like GLOSS GENIUS for appointment scheduling
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear recommendations
- Create your own business name or work under the Parkside logo, you are your own boss purchasing your own chemicals and retail, design your station to reflect your personal style.
