What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charge Nurse position at Parkside Homes, Inc.?
The Charge Nurse will be clinically competent while delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The Charge Nurse will effectively interact with patients, significant others and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing.

Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous experience in patient care setting.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse in Kansas.
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

- Capable of working without direct supervision.
- Good customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient, employee and company proprietary information
- Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels
