As a Dental Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and providing exceptional patient care. We are searching for someone who has experience in the dental field and is comfortable multitasking. Experience with Open Dental would be a plus.
As a Dental Administrator, the duties are shared with other admin team members, confirming appointments, directing correspondence letters from specialty offices, presenting treatment plans, scheduling appointments taking payments and verifying insurance benefits.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Collect patient information and update medical records
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure efficient patient flow
- Assist with scheduling treatment and follow-up appointments
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services, insurance, and billing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Get accurate insurance breakdowns and update them in patient charts
- Check patients out and discuss treatment plans
- Take payments
Qualifications:
- Ability to fill out task lists with all the vital information needed for appointment
- Previous experience in a dental office
- Proficient in using Open Dental is a plus
- Strong administrative skills, including knowledge of phone systems and office equipment
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills is a MUST
- Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented mindset

Our practice offers general dentistry services, oral surgery, implants and orthodontic services.
We are open 4 days a week for patient care. The position hours are M-TH 7:30AM -5:00pm. With alternating Fridays from 7:30AM-1:00PM.
