What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Therapist position at Parkside Family Counseling, LLC?
Parkside Family Counseling is seeking licensed, master’s-level social workers and counselors to provide outpatient therapy services to individuals and families within our community. This role is well suited for clinicians who are compassionate, skilled, and eager to work across a variety of populations and clinical needs.
Therapists will provide outpatient counseling services to clients across a range of practice areas, including young children, adolescents and teenagers, survivors of sexual harm, and families.
Clinicians will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment that values ethical practice, clinical excellence, and flexibility. Group clinical consultation is available to any therapist interested in support with challenging clients and collaborating with other clinicians.
Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing is highly valued and strong clinical documentation skills are essential for success in this role.
This is a contractual position, with options for as few as 10 clients per week or a fuller caseload with as many clients as a clinician can reasonably manage, making it ideal for clinicians seeking work-life balance or a flexible schedule.
Required Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
Licensure (Required): LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, or LPC (Michigan)
