We are seeking a talented and motivated Seamstress Tailor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bring your sewing expertise and passion for garment construction to alter, and repair clothing items with precision and care. Your dedication will help ensure our customers leave satisfied and confident in their wardrobe.
Duties
- Measure clients accurately and discuss their tailoring needs to ensure perfect fit and style.
- Operate sewing machines and other tailoring tools to construct, alter, or repair garments efficiently.
- Perform garment fitting sessions, making adjustments to achieve optimal comfort and appearance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all equipment is properly cared for.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide excellent customer service.
Skills
- Proven experience in sewing, hems, zippers, waist altering, sleeve shortening.
- Familiarity with sewing machines and other tailoring tools.
- Strong customer service skills to assist clients with their needs confidently.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality craftsmanship.
