Position Summary:
The PTA will work closely with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to our residents and patients. The ideal candidate is compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to helping patients improve mobility, strength, and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, and strength
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with therapy team, nursing staff, patients, and families
- Maintain compliance with all facility and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active PTA license in the state of Georgia
- Skilled nursing or rehab experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
