Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, help residents with personal hygiene, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
- Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Document resident food and fluid intake
- Make resident's bed and keep their living areas clean and tidy
- Transport residents within the facility
- Assist nurses and other staff as needed
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications and Skills:
- Current and valid CNA certification and OBRA registry
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
- Physical strength and stamina
- First aid and CPR certifications
