Seasonal employees are typically employed between Memorial Day and Labor Day (may vary based on location). Park and Recreation Aides can work in many different areas within a park or historic site, including: -Park Offices-Park and Trail Maintenance, Groundskeeping, and Landscaping-Pools and Beach areas-Historic Site Tours, Visitor Areas, and Gift Shops-Nature Centers-Sanitation and Cleaning-Golf Courses and Pro Shops-Patron Assistance...and more! Many park regions also employ a limited number of seasonal trades people, recreation specialists, and other specialized roles.
