What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter - Service (59210) position at Parks Automotive Group?
Job Requirements:
- Manage vehicle flow in our service stalls, service lane, service drive, and within the service parking lot.
- Work with service advisors to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, driving vehicles from service stalls, following dealership display standards, fielding customer requests, and other duties.
- Ensure each vehicle has a steering wheel cover and floor mat installed.
- Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs.
- Remove the steering wheel cover and floor mats before service delivery
- Clean driveway, sidewalks, and other areas as directed by management
- Provide transportation for customers
- Must be alert of traffic flow to sales and service lots
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary.
- Must be energetic and able to walk at a fast pace and stand for 8 hours a day
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds by self more than 50 with assistance
- Must be able to tolerate harsh weather conditions: excessive heat and excessive cold
- Must be able and willing to spend most of the day outdoors
