Job Summary:
Parkridge Health System in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a board certified / board eligible orthopaedic surgeon to start summer 2023 or summer 2024 to join a busy two-surgeon group.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in general orthopaedic surgery
- Fellowship training in sports medicine, joint replacement or foot and ankle would be a good complement, but not required
- Active Tennessee license or the ability to obtain one
- Comprehensive and robust benefits package including 401k, CME, occurrence-based malpractice
- Employment with HCA Physician Services Group
- High volume practice with two surgeons, two physician assistants and nurse Practitioner
- Senior partner that has an elective practice doing mostly knee and hip arthroplasty who is a leading practitioner of minimally invasive unicondylar knee arthroplasty
- Junior partner is a fellowship trained hand and upper extremity surgeon with a very high volume practice
- Flexible call arrangements and shared coverage is available with other surgeons
- Future ability to have part ownership in a new ambulatory surgery center
- Opportunity to immediately do all sports and minor trauma for the group and be involved with the large regional and local partial knee demand
- 275-bed licensed hospital
- Primary stroke and advanced cardiovascular center
- 24/7 tele-neurology support for acute stroke and other neurologic emergencies
- Accredited chest pain center
- Advanced surgical services including endovascular care and orthopedic/spine procedures
