PARKLAND RESTORATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM TEACHER (PREP)
ANTICIPATED FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Parkland School District is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Parkland Restorative Educational Program Teacher (PREP) at the Education & Operations Building for the 2026-2027 school year.
Certification: Valid PA Special Education Teacher Certification
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years satisfactory teaching experience in Middle School and/or High School, including implementing asynchronous virtual instruction.
- Ability to develop and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom - both physical and virtual - that maximizes each students' learning potential.
- Ability to attend and participate in required meetings, including virtual, IEP/GIEP/504 meetings.
- Ability to use laptop/desktop computers, learning management systems (LMS), virtual meeting platforms, and instructional technology effectively.
- Background knowledge and experience implementing trauma/informed practices, restorative practices, and positive behavior interventions, etc.
