Duties
- Conduct thorough cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, and brushing walls to maintain clarity and hygiene
- Perform routine water testing and adjust chemical levels to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards
- Inspect pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators; identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Use hand tools and power tools to troubleshoot mechanical problems and carry out maintenance tasks efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules for each pool
- Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally, ensuring all systems are properly prepared or secured
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding service updates or recommendations for ongoing pool care
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Experience with pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, or service technician roles is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of pool systems including filtration, circulation, chemical balancing, and equipment repair
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Prior experience using hand tools or power tools in maintenance or repair work is a plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred; willingness to learn industry-specific safety protocols
