Position Summary
The Parkinson’s Wellness Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Social Worker to lead 2-4 sessions of in-person support groups per week and serve as a collaborative partner in the continued growth of wellness and support services at The Bandeen Center. This role is well-suited for a flexible, experienced group therapist who is energized by innovation, values cross collaboration, and is interested in working with a small and dedicated group at this first-of-its-kind center.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person clinical support by facilitating 2–4 sessions of in-person support groups per week
Opportunities:
- Provide case management services with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners
- Deliver lectures or workshops on topics related to Parkinson’s disease, mental health, caregiving, and holistic wellness
- Contribute to other educational offerings that foster community connection and professional dialogue
Qualifications (Required)
- Licensed to provide group therapy sessions (LCSW, LMHC,LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)
