What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boxing Coach position at Parkinson's Boxing?
We are seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our Parkinson's boxing team as a boxing coach. Our program uses non-contact boxing to help individuals with Parkinson's disease improve strength, balance, coordination, confidence and overall well-being for individuals living with Parkinson's disease. The ideal candidate is someone who is empathetic, compassionate and comfortable working with older adults as well as individuals with physical challenges. This is a part-time position available both in our Tonawanda and Hamburg location. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays. Experience not necessary. Will train the right person. Responsibilities
- Deliver our specialized program tailored specifically for individuals with Parkinson's disease
- Lead one-on-one training sessions that focus on improving balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility
- Adapt coaching techniques to accommodate varying levels of mobility and physical ability while ensuring safety at all times
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates participants to reach their personal health goals
- Monitor participant progress regularly and adjust training plans accordingly to maximize benefits
- Maintain detailed records of session attendance, participant feedback, and progress notes
