We are looking for an experienced project management professional to join our growing business. This position is responsible for spearheading innovative projects using our technology to meet client needs and to develop and refine new use cases with the technology. The role will collaborate with operations and software development teams to refine existing products and to develop new products to meet future customer needs. The role will also support the Paralign sales team to define solutions to meet existing client needs.

The Position
This position is focused on enhancing operational efficiency, product innovation, and fit of our solution to customer and market needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for exploring new technologies, methodologies, and practices that can be integrated into PARALIGN products and solutions. The position will play a critical role in maintaining our competitive edge and propelling the organization's growth forward.
This position requires experience in scheduling work teams on multiple sites, negotiating and managing contractors, resolving scheduling and installation challenges, defining key work package specifications and common installation methods, and coordinating with our PARALIGN sales team and clients to ensure effective installations of the technology and ongoing maintenance of the solutions. This role will work closely with the Asura Technology team to refine and develop new solutions as well as identify opportunities to improve the existing use of the solution.
This position reports to the Paralign – COO.
Your skills will focus on collaborating with multiple teams to identify and deploy new solutions. You will develop and manage projects for internal and client site projects, and monitor the quality of work of installations and maintenance. You will be responsible for delivering quality installations that meet time and budget expectations while providing consistent communication on the status of installation and project work.
The ideal candidate should possess strong project management/work team scheduling skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and strong leadership skills.
Director, Technology Projects Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive research and development strategy to enhance parking and transportation solutions
· Lead projects in the design, testing, and evaluation of new Asura technologies and processes and apply them to client use cases.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize R&D projects aligned with business objectives.
· Evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies to inform R&D initiatives and strategic direction.
· Interact with internal teams and clients to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
· Coordinate with PARALIGN sales, Asura Technology team, and clients to develop an installation schedule for new sites.
· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
· Evaluate progress and prepare status reports of all implementation activity
· Define acceptable work packages/deliverables and the relevant specifications to support the work to provide to implementation teams.
· Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with Asura and Operating teams to address the opportunities.
· Works with product team and others to assure user requirements and development commitments are met.
· Achieves efficient time utilization.
· Some travel for business purposes will be required.
Director Technology Projects Success Requirements:
· Ability to lead a varied team in a design and installation support process; including coordination of team members from other companies.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents.
· Create and manage a schedule of innovation projects and installations work covering multiple work teams in multiple cities.
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
· Demonstrable skill in managing internal and 3rd party work teams
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priority with internal groups and contractors.
· Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed.

Education
College degree preferred, with technology focus
5-10 years’ experience managing and scheduling installation teams
5-10 years’ experience applying camera based or technology solutions in commercial
operations
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
