Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various networking systems and electrical components. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking and hands-on experience with low voltage systems. As a Field Technician, you will work directly with clients to ensure their systems are operational and meet their needs.
Duties
- Install and configure Ethernet networks and related equipment, including Cisco routers.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems and low voltage installations.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to complete installations efficiently.
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues and provide solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Skills
- Proficiency in Ethernet networking and computer networking principles.
- Strong electrical knowledge with experience in network installation.
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and low voltage systems.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand various equipment functionalities.
- Previous experience as a service technician is preferred but not mandatory.
