The Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing a friendly, courteous and prompt service to customers desiring transportation to and from the Airport and the parking lots.
Key Responsibilities
- At the beginning of the shift, inspect the assigned shuttle according to the shuttle check list. Check for damage, all equipment working, fuel, cleanliness, fluids, general safety, etc.
- Follow the assigned route and make each and every stop at the appropriate location.
- Operate wheelchair lift when needed.
- Follow all radio usage procedures.
- Greet each customer in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with their baggage.
- Operate shuttle in a manner that complies with all applicable traffic laws.
- Refrain from initiating and engaging in conversations with passengers that may be interpreted as demeaning, confrontational, or abusive in nature.
- Do no perform any passenger pickups or drop offs outside of the airport property or that is not on the assigned route.
- Drivers will limit their interaction with customers off the premises of the Airport to common courtesies.
- Maintain a professional appearance. All employees will be expected to abide by the uniform policy.
- Drive with utmost care, operating the customer’s vehicle safely and cautiously.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Be able to work any shift of the week
- Lift up to fifty pounds.
- Must have a clean driving record
- 1 year of previous experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a background screening
- Valid Driver’s License or CDL rated licensed as required
