Project Manager - Asphalt & Concrete Construction

Parking Area Maintenance is a growing commercial asphalt and concrete contractor serving Nebraska and Iowa. We specialize in asphalt paving, concrete, sealcoating, crack sealing, striping, and pavement maintenance solutions for commercial, municipal, and industrial clients.

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with construction experience who can manage projects, communicate effectively with customers and crews, and help keep jobs running efficiently from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial asphalt and concrete projects from award through completion
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and project documents
• Perform takeoffs and review quantities
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment
• Communicate with customers, property managers, general contractors, and vendors
• Track schedules, project progress, and job costs
• Conduct site visits and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Help identify and resolve project issues quickly and professionally
• Assist estimators and operations team as needed
• Maintain organized project documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project management, estimating, field supervision, or related construction roles
• Ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but experience can override education
• Experience in asphalt, concrete, civil, paving, or sitework construction is a plus
• Familiarity with Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Excel, Procore, or similar software
• Experience working with commercial or municipal construction projects
