Role Description The Financial Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for working directly with clients to assess their financial situations, clarify goals, and develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with Parkhaven’s high standard of stewardship. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client meetings, analyzing cash flow, investments, retirement needs, and risk exposure, and presenting tailored recommendations. The Financial Advisor will implement and monitor investment strategies, coordinate with internal and external professionals (such as tax and legal advisors), and adjust plans as client circumstances evolve. The role also involves maintaining detailed documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to business development through relationship building and referrals.
Qualifications
- Currently retains licensing in Federal FINRA Series 7 & Series 66, 2-15 Insurance Licensing or other demonstrable education that points to passing an examination within 90 days.
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to design and implement comprehensive personal wealth strategies.
- Strong Finance and Investments skills to analyze portfolios, markets, and risk profiles and to recommend suitable investment solutions.
- Experience providing holistic Financial Advisory services, including goal setting, ongoing review, and plan adjustments.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced credentials such as CFP®, CFA®, or CPA are highly beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
- Clear and empathetic communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in accessible terms and build long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices; prior experience in a registered investment adviser or wealth management environment is a plus.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and client-centric mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a small, professional team.
