Fleet Automative Technician

Overview

Parker and Sons is a trusted name in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services in the Phoenix area. We operate a large fleet of vehicles that help keep our team moving efficiently to serve our customers. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Fleet Technician to join our team and help maintain our fleet to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Position Summary: The Automotive Fleet Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, possess current A-Series ASE certifications, and be committed to safety and quality.

Schedule: 6am-3pm M-F (every 3rd weekend on call)

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles, including light to mid-sized trucks and vans.
• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle in the fleet.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize personal tools and equipment to complete work effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other technicians and fleet supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Conduct road tests to ensure proper operation and safety of vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, preferably with fleet vehicles.
• Current A-Series ASE certifications required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must supply own tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
