Join our dynamic team as a HazMat Tank Drive / Dock Worker, where you will play a vital role in safely transporting hazardous materials while ensuring smooth dock operations. You'll be responsible for delivering hazardous and specialized freight using tanker trucks and flatbeds. Your expertise will help us maintain compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and hazardous materials regulations while providing reliable delivery services.
Duties
- Safely operate HazMat tankers and flatbeds following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Transport hazardous materials (HazMat), following all hazardous materials and regulations and handling dangerous goods with care and precision
- Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques and proper cargo securing methods for hazardous and non-hazardous goods.
- Ensure proper securing of cargo in accordance with logistics cargo handling standards to prevent shifts or accidents during transit
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, route driving activities, and safety checks in compliance with DOT regulations
- Mixing different chemical blends for our customers.

- Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for HazMat transportation and manual transmission operation
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various conditions
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT rules, and safety standards for truck loading/unloading
- Experience handling tanker trucks and flatbeds preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while loading/unloading freight or cargo
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems for routes
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment

Pay: $22.00 - $29.51 per hour
