Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences for customers? Do you enjoy working in a warm and welcoming environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at our gift shop in Mason, NH (right on the border of Ashby & Townsend, MA). Specializing in hearty breakfasts served with our fresh maple syrup, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and a taste of New England tradition.
What You'll Do
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers have a delightful experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Suggestive selling and assisting customers in our gift shop with purchases and product inquiries.
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable service to help customers find the perfect items.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
- Operating the POS/cash register and handling transactions accurately.
- Inventory control, restocking shelves and ensuring displays are appealing and well-stocked.
- Retrieving and processing internet orders, taking phone orders, building gift baskets, packing & shipping of product.
- Light housekeeping, vacuuming & dusting.
- Collaborating with team members to create a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn about our products, including our famous maple syrup!
- The ability to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds, as well as climbing two sets of stairs throughout the work day.
* The shifts we currently have available are Saturdays & Sundays 9:00am-2:30pm, with seasonal weekdays shifts and Monday holiday shifts available.
