What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Writer/Receptionist position at PARKER'S AUTO SERVICE?
Busy Family Owned Auto repair shop looking to hire a service advisor/receptionist. Job will be assisting in answering phones, recieving parts, setting appointments and calling customers.
Secondary:
Customer Service: Assist customers by answering questions and inquiries over the phone, via email, text, and in person.
Administrative: Create invoices for clients using the company process, help process part orders/returns, dispatch repairs/parts as needed under the direction of manager/owner.
Other tasks: Fill in on tasks as needed to maintain the flow of the shop. Examples could be: running a shuttle, checking in and out customers, picking up a part, or any other task that can be safely completed which is needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Sales Experience: Must have at least 1-year experience in any sales role or demonstrate an ability to sell.
Organizational & Focus Skills: Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.
Computer Knowledge: Must possess a working knowledge of how to use a Windows computer.
Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in English fluently, both in verbal and in written form. This includes the use of a telephone.
