Parker Receiving & Design Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional to join our white glove delivery and installation team.
This is not package delivery and it's not traditional moving. We specialize in receiving, transporting, and installing luxury furniture, antiques, artwork, rugs, and designer furnishings for interior designers and homeowners throughout the Charleston area.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on work, has an appreciation for quality craftsmanship, and takes pride in handling valuable furnishings with care and precision. A clean driving record is essential, as this position includes driving company Sprinter vans and box trucks to and from client projects.

What You'll Do
As a Luxury Furniture Delivery & Installation Specialist, you'll work with a small team to:
- Safely drive company Sprinter vans and box trucks to job sites throughout the Charleston area
- Load, blanket-wrap, secure, and transport luxury furniture, antiques, artwork, and accessories
- Deliver, assemble, and install furnishings in clients' homes
- Place furniture according to designer floor plans and client expectations
- Protect clients' homes using floor protection, blankets, and proper handling techniques
- Inspect furniture before and during delivery to ensure it arrives in excellent condition
- Assist with receiving, staging, and preparing deliveries in our warehouse
- Communicate professionally with interior designers, homeowners, and team members
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Every project is different. One day you may be installing furnishings in a historic downtown home, and the next you may be delivering custom furniture to a newly completed luxury residence.
What We're Looking For
The right candidate is someone who:
- Has a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets commercial insurance requirements
- Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in professional work
- Is physically capable of repeatedly lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving furniture weighing 75 pounds with a team
- Pays close attention to detail and works carefully rather than rushing
- Treats clients' homes and furnishings with respect
- Communicates professionally with clients and coworkers
- Enjoys working as part of a small team
- Takes initiative and is willing to learn new skills
An interest in any of the following is a plus:

Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate:
- Furniture delivery
- White glove delivery
- Furniture installation
- Warehousing or logistics
- Construction or finish carpentry
- Cabinet installation
- Antique or fine art handling
- Residential moving
- Skilled trades
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- No weekends
- Most deliveries are within 50 miles of Charleston
- Occasional overnight travel for out-of-state deliveries
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $52,000–$62,000, based on experience
- Tips on select deliveries
