- Oversee and maintain the SQF System, HACCP Plan, and all key food safety programs
- Serve as the primary liaison during audits, inspections, and interactions with certifying bodies
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GMP, sanitation, allergen control, pest control, and chemical control programs
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Provide routine updates to senior leadership on food safety system performance
- Train employees on SQF, GMP, and overall food safety standards
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of HACCP training and exam
- Knowledge of SQF Code for food packaging manufacturing
- Strong communication, documentation, and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Ability to travel as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in science, food science, or related technical discipline
- Experience with SQF, GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and quality systems in a high level production environment
- Ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial/manufacturing environments
- Visual acuity for detecting product defects
