About the Role

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department. You will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and training to ensure that all cleaning and disinfecting protocols are followed. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of housekeeping staff and provide guidance and training on cleaning and disinfecting protocols

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with infection control and cleanliness standards

• Identify and address any issues with cleaning supplies, equipment, and maintenance needs

• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff attendance

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

• Supervise and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting departmental standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a healthcare setting

• Ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
