Assistant Director of Facilities-Full Time
The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking a self-motivated, experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Director of Facilities. This is an exciting and dynamic full time position, providing daily supervision of operations and maintenance of the facility.
As Assistant Director of Facilities, some of your daily activities will include completing preventative maintenance tasks within the documented timeline, which also includes initiating work orders, completing projects and maintaining records. You will also be supervising the maintenance department, putting together staff schedules, overseeing work that has been completed and conducting employee training. Renovations and improvements will be planned out and budgeted, along with inventory and ordering. This position offers a wide variety of problem solving and management for a self- motivated individual.

Position Qualifications:

Prior supervisory experience is preferred
- Associate Degree in Engineering

Prior experience in a healthcare facility

4 years of experience as a skilled Journeyman in a trade, with strong problem solving skills and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
