What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Plant Service Technician position at Parker Interior Plantscape?

We are currently seeking a Part time Interior Plant Service Technician in the Princeton/New Brunswick area to join the Parker Team. You will visit customer locations to care for their interior plants and green walls. The job primarily consists of, testing the plants for water, grooming the plants as necessary and checking in with the client before you leave the site . There is a lot of walking in some of these jobs so you will get your steps in!
Parker provides all the equipment required to service the plants in the accounts. Previous experience is a plus but if you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and plant care we will train you.

Qualifications:
- You must have strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have a positive attitude
- You must provide exceptional customer service at all times and build relationships
- You must have the ability to follow instructions
- You must pass background screen and drug test
- You must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- If you are willing to put in the windshield time and drive out of the basic area a company car maybe assigned to you
- You must meet all company Motor Vehicle Requirements (MVR)
- You must have excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, read, and write English
- You must be able to work independently and have strong time management skills
Preferred Skills: Previous experience working in landscaping, horticulture, and/or in greenhouses
Physical/environmental elements for this position: The candidate must have the ability to handle physical workload including bending, squatting, walking (spending all day on their feet), stretching, climbing a ladder, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs.
Salary: $16.00 - $19.00/per hour (based on experience) You will be tested and reviewed after 3 months at which time you may receive additional hourly compensation.

Expected hours: approximately 20 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift Monday to Friday
- Overtime is a possibility especially during the Holiday Season
- Weekends as needed
