Position Summary
Inspects rubber products made in manufacturing. Responsible for inspection of products by checks parts on the line as well as inspecting products in the inspection department. May also be required to run tumble and wash equipment.

High school diploma/GED one to three years of related inspection experience is desired.
Demonstrates good attendance history
Can read and understand standard work instructions
Be able to record status of parts whether rejected or accepted
Good communication skills with other inspectors, with line operators, and with leaders.
Works well with other team members.
Must be albe to do basic math.
Closing Statement
This position is considered weekly hourly paid, scheduled from 6am-2pm with other time when necessary.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for inspecting samples and parts coming off the grinding and cutting lines if out of spec, the inspector works with the machine operator and leader to hav ethe parts stoped and fixed.
- Inspected parts will be either passed or rejected, tagged, segregated and leaders will be notified of issue.
- Visual inspect parts for quality defects.
- Perform final audits on completed parts prior to shipping.
- Knowledge on using O.D. and I.D. gauges.
- Be familiar with micrometers, digamatics, snap gauges, and durometers.
- Performs final audits on parts prior to shipping.
- Records acceptance and rejections records on parts
- Works with quality department as a resource
- Maintains a clean and effective work area
- Uses other equipment within the inspection department
- Records status of rejected or accepted part for production needs.
