As a Utility, you will have flexible assignments based on daily need: shipping, plating and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for setting up, operating and performing minor maintenance on the parts washing machine
- Add chemicals and water to parts washer tanks as necessary to produce clean parts
- Responsible for setting up and operating Rack and Barrel Plating lines
- Responsible for accurately counting & identifying materials throughout the Materials area
- Responsible for interfacing work between all departments and the handling and processing of materials into and out of the area
- Must be able to operate all equipment in the Materials area which includes PITs, scales, hoists, etc.
- Set-up, adjust and operates all secondary machining equipment (lathes, burr bench, centerless grind, facer)
- Previous similar experience preferred
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Good basic math skills
- Good computer skills
