Your Responsibilities
- Learn to present positive self-image and make good business decisions.
- Learn to provide timely reports summarizing business activities.
- Learn costing, manufacturing process control, logistics and purchasing.
- Attend required training courses including effective presentations and negotiation skills.
- Learn Parker’s Lean Office and Manufacturing and Customer Service Programs.
- Research assigned materials and manufacturing process.
- Interact with engineering, accounting, quality, operations and a host of other functional areas.
- Learn the Network Procurement Process and Parker’s WIN Strategy in conjunction with the Strategic Procurement philosophy.
- Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management degree program or similar field. Sophomore class standing or higher preferred.
- Minimum culmulative GPA of 3.0.
- Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
- Must have intermediate computer skills and be able to understand of electronic processing.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
