Position Summary

The HR Administrator serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while contributing to a safe, ethical, and high-performance workplace.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files in accordance with Parker policies and legal requirements
- Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, job changes, transfers, and terminations
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as internal audits and reporting requirements
- Ensure HR processes align with Parker’s ethics, safety, and operational excellence standards
- Assist with job requisitions, postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Coordinate onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and new hire documentation
- Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to ensure a positive and consistent candidate and employee experience
- Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR questions related to policies, benefits, and processes
- Support attendance, timekeeping, and leave administration in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Assist with employee communications, HR initiatives, and engagement activities
- Support benefits enrollment, life event changes, and open enrollment activities
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure employee data accuracy and timely processing
- Assist employees with basic benefits and payroll inquiries, escalating issues as needed
- Support training coordination and maintain training and compliance records
- Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in special HR projects that support Parker’s Win Strategy and operational goals
- College level coursework, professional Human Resources seminars or Human Resources program certificate
- BS degree preferred
- 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with HR systems
- Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft a plus
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player. and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Acting as the “face” of HR as team members come into the HR office, with an approachable and patient demeanor
- Experience supporting a plant or multi-shift workforce
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems
- Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Prior experience in a matrixed or global organization
