Position Summary
The person in this position reports to the Technical Lead. They are responsible for performing required mold, manifold, and spacer block changes as needed for production purposes. The Diesetter is responsible for helping to keep the Push-In-Place (PIP) department operating as efficiently as possible by completing necessary mold, manifold, and spacer block changes in all of the presses in the PIP department.

Responsibilities
- Organizing and performing needed plate changes, and guts.
- Starting up presses and supplying good parts for first piece verification acceptance.
- Troubleshooting processes to maintain part quality.
- Keep molds, manifolds, spacers, and Desflexes organized in appropriate locations when not in use.
- Filling out required paperwork.
- Using tools including but not limited to: gantry, wrench, blow-torch, scale, winch, machete, Forklift, pre-heater, scale.
- Assisting the Technical lead as needed.
- Initiate work orders as needed.
- Show a commitment to company values.
- Assist in keeping an accurate record of where parts are being made and an accurate record of inventory by using Lot Traceability.
- All other duties as tasked.

- Great multi-tasking abilities.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to read and write the English language.
- Good organizational skills.
- Operator’s permit for powered industrial trucks (Class III).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to use handheld power tools.
- Must have ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with little or no supervision.
- High School Graduate / GED.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- One (1) year or more of previous experience using production machinery.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds by hand. The employee must be able to maneuver molds, manifolds, and Desflexs weighing up to 3,200 pounds with a gantry and/or forklift. The employee must be able to access all areas of the presses; reasonable accommodation will be provided. The employee will be on their feet 99% of the time while completing the necessary responsibilities of this position.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather temperatures prevalent at the time, most notably heat between 90 degrees and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times. Steel/composite toed shoes/boots must be worn at all times. Cotton gloves and sleeves as needed while performing certain job functions. Ear plugs required when working while mold blasting occurs nearby.
