Your Responsibilities
- Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.
- Perform daily tasks to produce hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder products, including but not limited to, assembling, testing, detailing, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, and positioning work area.
- Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, and basic measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks. (Examples: wrenches, starting sleeves, screw drivers, clamps, assembly table, cranes and other lifting devices, and various other hand tools and equipment.)
- Perform visual inspection of parts. Reviews basic blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.
- Review work orders for special instructions.
- Complete various types of paperwork related to production reporting.
- Maintains work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment.
- Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.
- Deals ethically with Parker’s customers, suppliers, fellow associates and the general public.
- Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Basic computer skills required Basic math skills required
- Basic understanding of gauging / measuring devices required
- Basic blueprint understanding required
- Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
- 2 years of previous machining experience preferred

- Attractive compensation packages designed to hire and retain the best talents in the industry. The starting rate for this position is $24.75/hour and goes up to $29.57/hour. Plus being on an off shift, this position has a $1.00/hour shift premium.
