As an Assembler II - Set up & operate, you will be working with benders, crimpers, hole punches and forming in our robotics cell.
Responsibilities
- Able to set-up and operate all the following equipment
- Wauseon forming
- Hole punch
- Benders
- Crimpers
- Ink jet printing
- Able to interact with Production and Inventory Control (P&IC), Engineering, Quality, Cell Leader, Value Stream Team Leader and other plant operations at all times.
- Must be capable of conducting and evaluating destructive testing along with visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part.
- Be able to identify, analyze, and evaluate machine and material problems
- Able to make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and machines when necessary, including effectively trouble shooting equipment issue
- Prior machine set-up experience preferred
- Good math, reading, and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Be able to use a variety of precision measuring instruments, including bevel protractor, micrometers, calipers, scales, etc.
- Able to lift 30lbs
