As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, counting and identifying materials at receipt and in the warehouse, then ensuring inventory is accurate at all times.
Responsibilities
- Must be familiar with receiving methods
- Must be able to use a computer and the stock locator system
- Must be able to independently move to the work within receiving tasks to eliminate batches/overflow situations as necessary by a self-directed team
- Must perform ancillary warehousing tasks, including but not limited to: cycle counting, replenishment. Consolidation, PO discrepancies, and dunnage
- Must be able to operate all materials handling equipment
- Must be willing to back up cell operators and other material handling processes
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 years Operating a forklift or equivalent equipment preferred
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Good math, reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
