Join our team as a Retail Sales & Parts Associate specializing in outdoor power equipment. We’re looking for a customer-focused, energetic individual to assist with in-store sales of Stihl power tools, Ferris lawnmowers, and related parts. This role combines retail sales, parts lookup, customer service, and stock control in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in-store and over the phone with equipment and parts inquiries
- Use computer systems to look up and order parts for Stihl equipment and other lawn equipment brands
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, lawnmowers, and accessories
- Process transactions accurately and handle returns/exchanges professionally
- Restock shelves, receive shipments, and maintain organized inventory
- Perform light to medium lifting (up to 50 lbs) of equipment and parts
- Keep the showroom clean, safe, and customer-ready at all times
- Build relationships with customers and provide top-notch service
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, customer service, or power equipment experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge of outdoor power tools and lawn equipment is a plus
- Comfortable using computer systems and parts lookup software
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
