Parker Automotive is looking for a DYNAMIC, fun, high-powered, people person to join their growing HR team. At Parker Automotive, we work hard and we play hard! Our employees are our biggest asset and the HR team is here to support, serve and grow our team.

The HR Assistant is here to support the Human Resources Team in administrative capacity, with the hopes of continuing to grow and strengthen the HR team. This position assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR functions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate new hire orientation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both electronic and physical.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits, leave requests, and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support HR projects, audits, and reporting as needed.
  • Perform other administrative duties to assist the HR team as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative or HR support role (preferred but not required).
  • Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
