What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Administrator position at Park West?
The Accounting Administrator is responsible for supporting the corporate finance department with all general accounting processing, posting, monthly reporting and banking reconciliation.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Process and post all accounts receivable as needed weekly.
• Review accounts receivable for any potential adjustments that need to be made prior to processing.
• Run and provide monthly closing reports for senior management review.
• Process all weekly internal check registers for health claims.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly depreciations.
• Manage monthly insurance premium and claims allocations.
• Post all accounting entries for weekly payroll taxes.
• Index accounting files in Paperless. Assist in any special projects as needed for accounting team.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in accounting related position.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly identify problems and resolve them appropriately
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and virtual meeting sources (Zoom, Teams)
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
