What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boarding Manager position at Park West Veterinary Associates?
The purpose of this position is to serve as the Boarding Manager for Park West Veterinary Associates and Stay at Park West Vet! As head of boarding, you will manage all processes to ensure our canine and feline guests receive exceptional experiences with our practice.
- Manage all boarding employees
- Make Boarding shift schedule
- Provide and oversee training of all boarding employees
- Create, enforce and audit all safety procedures to ensure all patients and staff are safe in our care
- Look for ways to improve boarding processes & overall boarding program for business
- Order and manage all boarding inventory products
- Work along side boarding employees to help care for pet guests.
- Cover boarding shifts when employees are out on leave.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays, especially during peak times.
- Look for ways to assist the hospital operations when the boarding team has capacity to do so.
- Serve on the company's leadership team which makes decisions that drive success for our clients, patients and team members.
