We are currently looking for a Toddler Assistant Teacher who is patient, dependable, and passionate about working with young children.
Job Summary
As a Toddler Assistant Teacher, you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, loving, and engaging classroom. You’ll help guide daily routines, assist with activities, and support children as they learn, explore, and grow.
Duties
- Assist in implementing a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum
- Support daily routines including playtime, meals, diapering/toileting, and rest time
- Help create a warm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
- Encourage early language, social, and motor skill development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate positively with team members and families
- Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and staff
Skills
- Experience working with toddlers preferred
- Genuine love and patience for young children
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in early childhood education
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
