The Primary Trainer serves as a culture champion and educator responsible for advancing the Spirit Household Model of Care within Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Households.

Key Responsibilities:
- Model MemberCentered Care: Demonstrates exceptional memberdirected care in daily interactions, serving as a visible example of the Spirit Household philosophy.
- Coach and Develop Associates: Mentors and coaches team members to strengthen confidence, presence, and authentic engagement with Members. Encourages associates to “be in the moment” and build meaningful relationships.
- Strengthen Household Culture: Continuously assesses household practices, team dynamics, and engagement levels to ensure alignment with membercentered principles. Provides feedback and actionable guidance for improvement.
- Promote Effective Communication: Demonstrates and teaches strong listening and communication skills when interacting with Members, families, guests, vendors, and team members.
- Address Challenges Proactively: Identifies negative deviations from the model of care and develops constructive, membercentered alternatives and solutions.
- Support Clinical and Operational Leaders: Collaborates closely with the Memory Care Guide and Assisted Living Wellness Director to reinforce training, provide coaching, and support consistent implementation of best practices.
- Deliver Educational Programming: Facilitates engaging and effective training sessions for team members and families to support the implementation and sustainability of the Spirit Household Model of Care.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated passion for working with older adults and advancing membercentered care.
- Ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Skilled in presenting educational material in a clear, engaging manner that ensures learner comprehension and demonstrated competency.
- Critical thinker with the ability to adapt training and responses to individualized Member needs and realtime situations.
- Primarily works in welllighted, climatecontrolled environments.
- Must be able to maintain focus amid frequent interruptions.
- Requires walking up to 75% of the workday.
- Must be able to tour the entire building (up to one mile), occasionally pushing a wheelchair.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently.
