Park Slope Veterinary Care is a small, privately owned practice that’s been part of the neighborhood for nearly 25 years. We’re looking for a receptionist to join our front desk team—someone who’s professional, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
This role is central to how we operate. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, helping manage appointments, phone calls, and day-to-day coordination. It’s a client-facing role that requires clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Just as important, we’re looking for someone who brings a warm, composed presence. We want a receptionist who consistently leaves clients with a professional and positive impression of the practice.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or concerns
- Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations of the clinic
