Academy School Teacher (Elementary)

Overview

Park Row Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher who is committed to academic excellence and Christ-centered education. Our teachers cultivate a love of learning while integrating a biblical worldview into daily instruction and building meaningful relationships with students and families. With small class sizes and a supportive team environment, teachers have the opportunity to know each student well and provide individualized instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in core academic subjects.
• Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview throughout instruction and classroom interactions.
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students.
• Monitor student progress through ongoing classroom assessments and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student success and the mission of the school.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (teaching certification preferred).
• Experience teaching elementary-aged students preferred.
• A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to integrate a biblical worldview into daily instruction.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for helping students grow academically, spiritually, and socially.
