Role Description
This is a part-time (2-3 weekdays plus 1-2 Saturdays/mo) on-site role for a General Pediatrician. The Pediatrician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, providing primary care, managing neonatal cases, and supporting child wellness and development. The role involves collaborating with other physicians to deliver coordinated and effective care, as well as engaging with patients and their families to address healthcare needs and ensure a positive experience. The role is exclusive to the outpatient setting. No hospital/newborn rounding. After hours calls are first triaged by an RN.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pediatrics, Primary Care, and Neonatology
- Knowledge of Medical Practices and Standards, with a strong foundation in Medicine
- Experience working collaboratively with Physicians in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, families, and colleagues
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
- Valid medical license to practice in Illinois
- Experience in or familiarity with community-focused healthcare is advantageous
