What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Team Assistant Coach, Seasonal (45294) position at PARK RIDGE PARK DISTRICT?
Description: We are seeking an Swim Team Assistant Coach to assist with supervising the swimmers during practices, meets, and other team activities. Maintains current and accurate records pertaining to schedules, attendance, swimmer’s time, and line-ups. Assists in coordinating parent volunteers for home swim-meets. Serves as one of the contacts to the Aquatic Supervisor, parents, swimmer, and assigned part-time staff. Enforces pool policies, rules, and regulations and ensures the safety of all participants.
Qualifications: Applicant must have interpersonal skills to greet all parents and work well with children. A basic level in written and verbal communication in the English language is required. Selected individuals need to be at least 16 years of age.
Availability: Scheduled hours and shifts vary per week from June through July with 15-20 hours per week which include mornings and swim meets on Wednesday evenings
