What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Assistant, Part-time (45790) position at PARK RIDGE PARK DISTRICT?
Description: Our preschool is seeking a collaborative and positive minded individual to work as a Preschool Assistant in our 2 year old classroom. This person should be nurturing, patient, organized, creative and a team player. The schedule will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:45am- 11:45am. The position will include playing with children, lesson planning and prepping with the lead teacher. The position will begin the week of August 17th.
Qualifications: Individuals must have experience working with young children. Advanced level of written and verbal communication in the English language is required.
Education: High school diploma required. A minimum of an Associate's Degree is preferred.
Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:45am-11:45am. The ability to stay after class for prep time will be needed occasionally.
