Park Property Management Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage key financial processes and support the financial health of our property portfolio. The Accountant will handle accounts payable, financial reconciliation, payroll, vendor compliance, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, and managing check runs.
- Reconcile monthly financial data such as tenant charges, credit card statements, and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing, including gathering timesheets and managing overtime approvals.
- Ensure vendor compliance by maintaining W-9s, certificates of insurance, and preparing 1099s annually.
- Support in audits, and reporting, including producing financial summaries and tracking expenses.
- Resolve billing disputes and collaborate with management to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience: 2 years in accounting, preferably in property management or real estate.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and payroll systems (e.g., ADP).
- Strong ability to process and reconcile financial data accurately.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to address billing discrepancies and reconcile accounts proactively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with property management accounting.
- Experience in budgeting, audits, and financial reporting.
